when will corona end

So many people are constantly asking the experts who have studied and have faced similar situations in the past that when will corona virus end? In 1 month or 1 year or 2 year? Honestly no one knows when will it end. Because of its highly contagious nature it is spreading like fire and everyday there are ten thousands of people are getting infected and out of them some unfortunate lives are lost. So what really is the answer then?

I'm not being a medical professional or infectious disease expert just wanted to share my opinion and thoughts about how this pandemic would come to an end. 

So The answer to the question of when will corona virus pandemic will end is divided into two parts :

CASE 1: WE DEVELOP A VACCINE.

So consider a case wherein we successfully develop a vaccine which cures or at least reduces the risk of dieing from this COVID-19 virus. But even if we consider that a vaccine is developed today i.e. July 2020 it would still take many years to produce this vaccine for everyone. What does that mean so just imagine you'll have to produce 7.8 billion vaccines for 7.8 billion people, so what do you think? How much time will it take to produce 7.8 billion vaccine.

That's practically impossible to achieve in a month or two so if we count the lowest it would take at least a year. 

CASE 2: IF EVERYONE GETS INFECTED AND HERD IMMUNITY IS DEVELOPED.

I know this sounds outrageous and completely idiotic to many of you but it is what I've come to conclusion. The spread of this virus will only stop once it is present in everyone and our body has developed herd immunity. Our bodies have a million viruses, bacterias and what not. So this is the only possibility i think we will be able to practically end this contagious cycle of COVID-19 virus.
